The KB Alloys commitment to research and development has resulted in a tradition of innovation that has contributed to advancements in many industries. Our researchers and technical experts have pioneered many of today¡¯s master alloy and metallurgical grain refiner standards. These include BORAL®, TIBOR®, TICAR® AND TITAL®, waffle ingot and rod, and countless chemistry advances.
In keeping with that tradition, KB Alloys recently announced a new higher concentration for its Boral® series of Aluminum-Boron master alloys. The new alloy contains 10% boron as AlB12 inter-metallics.
The new higher concentration comes in the traditional waffle ingot form, making an easy transition from the current standard products to the new alloy
