KB Alloys Announces a Restructuring Program

Dear Valued Customer,

KB Alloys has been considering its global production requirements and, as part of a restructuring program, has decided to close the Anglo Blackwells facility in Widnes UK. This plant was the primary production facility for the various strontium-aluminum coiled and cut rod products supplied through KB Alloys. David Crawshaw and Brian Breen of KPMG LLP have been appointed by KB Alloys to act as administrators of Anglo Blackwells Ltd.

Inventory levels are in place to serve our customer demand while we realign our equipment, facilities and other assets in Kentucky, Washington and China to facilitate this transition.

As a loyal and valued customer – IT'S BUSINESS AS USUAL. Your normal requirements for KB Alloys strontium-aluminum coiled and cut-rod products will be handled as usual through our customer service department.
