KB Alloys Rod Feeder

KB Alloys' rod feeder is designed to introduce one (1) or two (2) 3/8" diameter grain refiner or modifier rod into molten aluminum stream at a calibrated rate. It is equipped with a variable speed control so that the rate of addition may be varied from 0 to 150 inches per minute. Additionally, alarms are installed to notify the operator when desired feed rates are not being achieved.

• 0-150 inches per minute feed range.
• Closed loop/regulated (in./min.).
• 1/2 HP 90VDC, 1750rpm motor (80:1) gear reduction.
• Interrupted feed enunciator alarm (Flashing light).
• Knurled wheel drive roll.
