Form Packaging Options

Waffle Ingots measure about 1.75" x 9" x 18" (45 x 230 x 460 mm) and weigh approximately 17 lbs. (7.7 kg); notched sections measure about 1.75" x 2.25" x 4.5" (45 x 57 x 115 mm) and weigh approximately 1 lb. (0.45 kg). Ingot weight varies with alloy. Packed 2500 - 3500 lbs. (1135 - 1600 kg) per wood pallet, steel strapped and plastic shrink wrapped.

 

Beryllium Notched Ingots measure about 2.5" x 2.5" x 13.5" (63 x 63 x 345 mm) and weigh approximately 5 lbs. (2.3 kg); notched sections measure about 2.5" x 2.5" x 3.25" (63 x 63 x 85 mm) and weigh approximately 1.25 lbs. (0.6 kg). Packed 200 lbs. (90 kg) per drum or 500 - 600 lbs. (225 - 275 kg) per cardboard box, steel strapped.

One Kilogram Notched Ingots measures 1.5" x 2.25" x 8.5" (38 x 57 x 215 mm) and weigh approximately 2.2 lbs. (1 kg). Packed 2500 lbs. (1135 kg) per steel strapped box.

 

 

Broken Ingots are cast ingots broken into irregular pieces measuring from .25" to 4" (6.4 - 100 mm). Packed 1200 - 2000 lbs. (540 - 910 kg) per wood crate, steel strapped.

 

 

 

Slab Ingots measure about 1.75" x 12" x 22" (45 x 300 x 560 mm) and weigh approximately 40 lbs. (18 kg). Ingot weight varies with alloy. Packed 2000 - 4000 lbs. (910 - 1800 kg), steel strapped on wood pallet and plastic shrink wrapped.

 

Buttons measure about 1.5" x 2" x 2.5" (38 x 50 x 64 mm) and weigh approximately 5 - 8 ounces (0.14 - 0.23 kg); weight varies with alloy. Packed 1600 lbs. (725 kg) per steel strapped wood crate or 400 lbs drums. Beryllium aluminum buttons are packed 350 lbs. (160 kg) per drum or box.

 

Sheared Ingot (Cut Cast Bar) is taken from a continuous cast trapezoidal bar with a cross - sectional area of 1.78 inches. Each inch weighs 2.75 ounces (.078 kg). Weights ranging from 3/4 pound (0.34 kg) to 8.0 pounds (3.63 kg) are available. Products which are available in this form are all the TIBOR® grain refiners as well as 6% TITAL®, 3% and 6% TICAR® and 3.5% and 10% Strontium Aluminum. Packaged 300 - 400 lbs. in drums.

Coiled Rod measures .375" (9.5 mm) in diameter and is provided in layer wound coils. Standard weights are:

Packed three - 400 lb. (180 kg) coils; four - 600 lb. (272 kg) - three - 1000 lb. (454 kg) coils; and one - 3000 lb. (1360 kg) coil per pallet. Coils are covered with polyethylene sleeve and steel strapped to the pallet. Rod diameter is SPC controlled. Product name, heat number and length of coil is printed every meter for ease of identification.

Other coil sizes are available on request.

Cut Rod (Sticks) measures .375" (9.5 mm) x 5.75" (150 mm) long and each piece weighs approximately one ounce (0.028 kg). Other lengths available on request. Packed 1500 lbs. (680 kg) per steel strapped box or 200 lbs. drums.

 

Splatter (flake) measures .25" (6.4 mm) thick with length and width random; pieces weigh from 1 - 10 ounces (0.028 - 0.28 kg) each and vary with alloy. Packed 2500 3000 lbs. (1135 - 1360 kg) per steel strapped wood crate, or in polyethylene lined paper bags containing about 50 lbs. (23 kg) and stacked on wood pallet containing 2500 lbs. (1135 kg).

 

Pyramids 8 oz.(0.23 Kg) pyramid shaped buttons 2.25" x 2.25" x 2" (57 x 57x 50 mm). Packaged 400 pounds (180 Kg) per drum, 4 drums per skid.

 

 

Piglets measure 1.75" x 2.5" x 4.5" (45 x 57 xCircuit 115 mm) and weigh approximately one pound (0.45 kg) packed in 350 - 500 lbs. (160 kg - 225 kg) in steel drums or 2500 (1134 kg) to 3000 lbs. (1360 kg) in wooden crates.

 

Korrect bar is the trademark name for a .9" (23 mm) diameter extruded bar which weighs 1.0 oz. (0.028 kg) per inch (25 mm). Packaged 400 lbs. (180 kg) per drum, 4 drums per skid
